June 22, 2025 - DT&I Special - “The North End”
Join us for an opportunity to ride the northern leg of Henry Ford’s Railroad. We will travel the northern end of the DT&I from Leipsic, Ohio to Diann Tower just north of the Ohio / Michigan border near Dundee. This 135 mile round trip will take us through Hamler where we will cross the CSX Willard Subdivision, Malinta, Liberty Center, Delta where we will cross over Norfolk Southern Railway’s very busy Chicago Line and finally to Diann Tower just south of Dundee, Michigan. After a short stop we will head back south to Leipsic. We will have full concessions with a wide array of options available for purchase in our Queen City Tavern car. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to travel over a very historical railroad that once hauled coal and raw materials for automobiles from the Ohio River in Ironton, Ohio to Flat Rock, Michigan.
